  • For Adults
    I solemnly declare that I am participating in the Alonissos Challenge and Silver Swim Challenge on my own initiative and at my own risk, and I hereby certify the following:
     
    • I have read the race regulations as well as the safety guidelines provided by the organizing committee so that we may all participate safely.
     
    • I am aware that participating in running races and open-water swimming is a demanding activity. I understand the nature of these sports and accept the inherent risks (such as weather changes, currents, fatigue, contact with marine life, or minor injuries). I assume full responsibility for my personal safety and participation.
     
    • I commit to strictly following the instructions of the specialized staff, marshals, and referees to ensure the smooth conduct of the event and to avoid putting myself or my fellow athletes at risk.
     
    • I understand that the organizing committee reserves the right to suspend or cancel my participation if it deems such action necessary for my safety or the safety of others.
     
    • I solemnly declare that I have recently been examined by a physician and certify that I am fully healthy and fit to participate. I assume exclusive responsibility for my health before, during, and after the race.
     
    • I acknowledge that I will not seek any compensation from the organizing committee in the event of an accident, injury, health issue, or damage to personal property (e.g., loss of personal belongings) that may occur during my participation.
     
    • I am aware that the organizing committee will do everything humanly possible to provide immediate first aid and medical care in case of emergency.
     
    • I release the Alonissos Challenge, the co-organizers, partners, sponsors, staff, and volunteers from any legal or financial claim related to my participation.
     
    • In the event of extreme weather conditions or force majeure, the organizing committee may modify the routes or cancel the race for our safety, without any obligation to refund the registration fee.
     
    • I consent to the capture and free use of photographs and videos from the race in which I may appear, for the promotion and publicity of the event in the media and social networks, without any financial claim on my part.
     
    Parent/Guardian Solemn Declaration (For Minor Participants)
    As the legal guardian of the participant, I declare that I am solely responsible for the participation of my minor child in the Alonissos Challenge and Silver Swim Challenge, and I hereby certify the following:
     
    • I have carefully read the race regulations and the safety guidelines provided by the organizing committee, and I have explained them to my child so that they may participate safely.
